Fixation with tape during transport prevents damage to glass shelves in particular as well as to loose bins and other loose parts.
Shelves, loose bins and other small parts can be kept in place during transport using strapping tapes. Damage to parts, especially glass shelves, during transport can be avoided by using a strong adhesive tape, which can be removed without leaving residue.
The tapes used should have a high tensile strength to stop rattling and not tear, which include tesa 4224, tesa 4287, tesa 4289, tesa 4298, tesa 64250, tesa 64283, tesa 64284, tesa 64293, and tesa 64294 PVO.
